Elijah is 4!!!

Today is Elijah's birthday, and we are celebrating what a wonderful gift this little man is! God gave us such a feisty, rambunctious, spirited little boy, and I couldn't be happier about that!

After having 2 sweet little girls, Mike and I had no idea what we were in for when they told us we were having a boy...the messes, the running, the jumping, the dirt, the fights, the cars. oh the cars.

God apparently knew how much I needed to work on my patience, because this boy tries my patience like no other. But, he is the one I prayed for. I have always wanted a little boy, (and God gave me 3...does He come through or what?!?! :D) and Elijah is the BOYEST in the land! For sure!


I have no words to describe this child's energy. You honestly have to see it to believe it. I've had so many people (even parents with a boy or boys of their own) tell me they have never seen a child so active or energetic or as intense as my Elijah. Think Dennis the Menace on speed. drinking red bull. Got it? Yeah, that's him.


He is certainly one of a kind! And he's mine. And I'm thankful for that every single day of my life.
