Elijah's new thing

So the other day, I was sitting on the couch and Elijah was on the other side with the dog...being all boyish...ya know, wrestling with her and what not. A few minutes passed, and it was getting old and they were getting loud, so I told him to stop and yelled at Lily to get down. Elijah looked right at me, and without missing a beat said, "You're driving me nuts!" (or nutths, as he has a lithp) I could not hold back the laughter. I seriously had not said that to him all day. Apparently I do say it to him, though. Boys.
Oh, and when he's not getting what he wants and I'm getting on to him for something, he calls me a bad boy.
Oh, AND.... HE PEED IN THE POTTY A BUNCH TODAY!!! He did have a few accidents, but seriously, I thought he would be around 5 or 6 before he was potty trained. This was the first day that he has told me he wanted to go poo-poo (it's what he calls pee and poo) in the potty. And he actually did it!!!

The Big Decision

We're going for it!! Mike and I have decided to try for another baby...starting in July or August!!! We've both been praying about it, and it just seems like the more I pray, the stronger my desire gets to have another one! :) I just feel like I haven't met all of my children yet. Is that weird? I mean, I could list all of the reasons why we would be a little apprehensive about it (and I have right here ), but none of them compare to us just wanting another one and knowing that this is God's will for us. After all, didn't he say in Ps. 127:3, "Children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward." So...after I lose about 30 lbs. in the next few months (hopefully!) we will start trying...so I can put the weight right back on... :) I can't wait to meet our newest little miracle! Watch us end up with twins....

Elijah's lifeblood

This kid eats, sleeps and breathes Hot Wheels! It's all he plays with! All. day. long. When he's been really good at Walmart or Target (or wherever we're at that has them, really) we let him pick one out. I mean, they're only $1 a piece. We're having a hard time now finding ones that he doesn't already have. When people would ask me what they should get him for Christmas, my automatic response was "anything that has to do with cars!" So that's what everyone got him. We're up to our eyeballs in Hot Wheels around here! I'm super happy that he has something that he's completely and totally interested in (I actually think he may be a NASCAR driver, Lord help us!) besides Mario Kart (more car racing...). :)

Who doesn't love to drive a car on the underside of a table??? :D

Which one? This is such a hard decision...

Oh, and I almost forgot...

MY BIG HOT WHEEL, MARIO KART, NASCAR LOVING BOY WILL BE 3 YEARS OLD IN 2 DAYS!!!!!

I seriously LOVE this kid!!!
