Laney and Chloe have been in karate for about a year and a half, and they really like it alot! They are both green belts and have just started working on learning katas, which are basically just choreographed defensive/offensive movements. To watch the brown and black belts do katas at the awards ceremonies is really cool! I'm hoping the girls stay in it until they reach their black belts. I can't wait to put Elijah and Isaac in it...they need the discipline! =)
Here's Laney doing her 16 step kata with Elijah doing his version at the end. It's hilarious to watch him try to keep up with the girls when they practice. =) Chloe knows this kata too, she just didn't feel like performing when I had the video camera out. Go figure.
