Nicknames

Something occurred to me the other day, as my sisters (who are 10 and 11 years older than me) and I were talking about nicknames they used to call me.  I figured I should probably write down those little unique names I've bestowed upon my own children.  Because we all know we just love the nicknames, right? :D
Okay now, brace yourself.  My family is weird.  and we make up weird nicknames.  You're gonna see some crazy ones.

           LANEY:

~ Landy
~ Lady
~ Lane
~ Lady Bird Johnson
~ Laney Love
~ Sis

CHLOE

~ Chloester
~ Chlo Chlo
~ Chloington
~ Coco
~ Chlody (she HATES this one!)
~ Tiny girl
~ Bird or Birdling

ELIJAH

~ Eli (of course)
~ Lije
~ Lijey-poo
~ Eli Joe
~ Tiny guy
~ Stinky

ISAAC

~ Ike
~ Ikey
~ Iggy
~ Iggy Bob
~ Ike the Spike
~ Iggle-pop
~ Soggy (I snatched this from Miss, who calls her little Trigg her soggy boy. Thanks Miss! :))

JETT

~ Jettsy
~ Jett-pack
~ J-bird
~ Poo port
~ Bubbles for my troubles (this one I started saying when he was a newborn, and cried alot...)
~ Busy or Busy Boy
~ Baby Jett (this name was bestowed upon him by his siblings, his cousins, and our friends' kids...pretty much every child that is around him calls him Baby Jett :D)
~ Mr. Higginbottom (derived from Bessy Higginbottom from the show Mighty B.  You don't know of the show Mighty B, you say?  Well, it's probably best that you don't.)

So there you have it.  I guess they're not that weird.  I don't know.  This is coming from a girl who had an imaginary friend named Danny Jarfus, who lived in the bathtub.

Oh and, for the record, my sisters called me Shovie.  Because neither one of them ever wanted to hold me, so they shoved me back and forth.  Aren't they mean?  No wonder I'm my mother's favorite. ;)

Nicknames stick to people, and the most ridiculous are the most adhesive.
