My neice's birthday party was last Friday at the park and the kids all had a great time there! I love when they can just run and run and burn off a ton of energy...especially Elijah!! The car ride home from the park is always the best! :)

Mike's birthday is this Thursday and his boss is letting him take a day off, so he chose to take Friday instead so he could have a 3 day weekend. We're planning on taking the kids to the zoo, if the weather permits. The rainstorm we had tonight was frightening!! I had to run a couple of errands this evening and I got completely soaked...even with an umbrella. I was listening to K-Love on the way home (I love that station!!) and the song "You Are Everything" by Matthew West was playing, and I was just amazed at how God can show himself so clearly to us in simple things like thunderstorms. Like it says in the song...He's "standing right in front of us with arms wide open." I just put the song on here. It's so good.
