Snuggly little Elijah...

My husband graciously stayed home with the kids this morning so I could go with my mom at the crack of dawn "black friday" shopping. He went with me last year and decided that he couldn't possibly take that again,'s how his morning went after I left.

Elijah woke up at around 5:15 crying and was completely unconsolable. Mike figured that he'd go back to sleep if he just put him in our bed...which worked for about 20 minutes, till Elijah decided to get up and wander the house while daddy was sleeping. So Mike wakes up to find that Elijah is no longer in bed with him. He thought for a second that maybe he had put him back in his crib, so he went in there to check on him and couldn't find him. He searched the living room and kitchen and noticed that the gate to go downstairs was open. Hoping that he would find him upstairs, he continued to search till he found this scene in the girls' room.

Notice what is under Chloe's leg...yeah, that would be Elijah's head :)

He got out of bed with daddy and climbed into bed with his sisters. I can't believe he didn't take advantage of having free reign over the entire house...he must've been really tired. Luckily, my brilliant husband thought to take pictures of it for me to see. I just wanted to snuggle my little Elijah man right up when I got home. :) He's such a sweet, snuggly little boy!

My handsome "knight in shining diapers" is what I like to call him :) I seriously cannot get enough of this child. :) Of course, I love all my kids like that, but it's something about this age.

And here's a picture of Isaac with my dad, who he's named after. Isaac's middle name is Robert, which is my dad's first name. He looks alot like my dad...well, he looks alot like me, and I look like my dad, so...ya know...

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
