Getting Big!!!

Isaac is almost rolling over!! He keeps getting his arm stuck underneath him, and then he'll fall asleep on his side trying. :) He's still sleeping about 10 hours at night without waking up. He's not so laid back when he's awake though. He likes to be held alot...that could have something to do with the fact that I've been holding him alot lately, trying to soak in all his baby-ness since this is my last one.

Elijah had his 2 year check up last Friday, and I've realized that he's really tiny for his age. He's in like the 10th percentile for weight and the 5th for height. I've been concerned with his speech lately...he's not putting 2 words together or anything yet, so I had her check that and she said that he's fine. Boys apparently talk later than girls. I counted up all the words he says, and it comes to about 50. She said that if I'm still concerned about it in 6 months, then I can bring him back and she'll check him again. So we'll see... Oh, she also said that he has fluid in one of his ears and that could be why he's been getting up at night and why he isn't talking so much too. Ever since I started him on the antibiotic she prescribed, he's been sleeping through the night. Yay!

Here's a video of Isaac talking and laughing.

Man, I sure do miss you! I can't believe you have such a big family! I was just thinking the other day about you. I was thinking when we were in High School in the hallway, and Wendy had something wrong with her calf and almost fell! lol!!! That seems just like yesterday. You have a great family...maybe one of these days I will start having a family! Love ya much...by the way thanks for the email in regards to Jett! Talk to ya soon!

That was very sweet. It almost made me excited to have a newborn again (I'm not really a "baby" person LOL).

I wouldn't worry about Elijah. Our third child, Bryce, didn't talk much until he was almost three. When his older sister (who talked for him) left for school, I couldn't believe how much he started talking. He was jabber-jaws! Elijah is probably soaking it all in and will start talking in full sentences :)
