Ugghhh...

I'm so tired of being pregnant! I'm so incredibly happy that this will be my last pregnancy forever! I just know that God has let me have a not so good pregnancy so that I won't be missing it when it's over :P I can't sleep at all, I have horrible pains in my lower abdomen, I constantly feel like I have a bladder infection, this baby kicks in places no other kid has kicked before (how can it get its foot or hand in my hip bone, I'd like to know :P), and the list goes on and on. I know, I know...I shouldn't be complaining. Pregnancy is a very awesome thing to experience and it's such a miracle. I just want to see my baby. Here's a pic of my belly at 33 weeks.

In other news, Laney is still loving school!! YAY! She had to miss a couple days a while back when she had pink eye, and she was so upset! She really likes her teacher and she's made a few friends that she talks about. Right when she gets home, Mike and I bombard her with questions about how her day went and what they did and stuff. She gets annoyed with it at times. :P Chloe really misses not having her here to play with. It's really sad to hear her playing with her ponies by herself. :( And Elijah really isn't at the stage yet where he can play with her. I'm glad that she'll be able to start school next year. She's really excited to go, now that she knows how much Laney likes it.

So good that Laney likes school (Hey, I am a teacher after all). Natalie was born at exactly 34 weeks gestation and was in the NICU for 13 days. Part of why she doesn't talk is that I taught her sign language, and to her that is "talking." I'm just not sure what I should do! I am definately making an effort to talk TO her more. Don't wish too hard for your pregnancy to be over, because leaving a baby in the NICU is no fun! (YEs, I know you know that, but I just had to say it!)

You look AWESOME! I have to say that I am feeling those exact pains and discomforts. Did you know that you can take Tylenol PM to help you sleep? It is wonderful :) Ask your Dr. first, but mine said that it is perfectly fine for me. Hang in there. I keep reminding myself that the baby is much easier to care for while it is inside than when it is outside and I don't know what it wants :)

HI Sarah!

We really should talk via email, not comments! LOL. Anyways, yes, I had preeclampsia so I was induced. I went on bedrest at 32 weeks, and they gave me steroids for her lungs and then had me try to hold out to 34 weeks. Some babies that early go home with their moms, but she couldn't figure out how to eat. But she's big and healthy now, just not talking! I decided I'm not worried about it yet, she's not even 2!

And I know you don't really want to have the baby early. I was just giving you a hard time. WHo knows, if I carry my next baby to term, then I will probably be feeling the same way right about 34 weeks!
